Kanz Philosophia is a refereed academic journal published by Sekolah Tinggi Filsafat Islam (STFI) Sadra in Jakarta. The journal conscientiously aims to provide a scholarly platform for critical and informed articles, particularly in the field of Islamic philosophy and Mysticism. Such issues arise out of classical and contemporary discussions from varied traditions, either Eastern, Western in the hope to contribute the resolution of various It theoretical, methodological, and practical issues in the aforementioned fields. It covers following scopes and issues :

Philosophy of philosophy (Epistemology and Ontology);

Philosophy of  human;

Philosophy of language;

Philosophy of religion;

Philosophy of moral;

Philosophy of history;

Philosophy of culture;

Philosophy of art;

Philosophy of politics ;

Philosophy of sosiology;

Theoretical and practical Sufism

Kanz Philosophia dedicates its publication to the critical assesement and review of books, which may include review articles and shorter notes as well as normal-length reviews. Contributors to the Journal Kanz Philosophia should take the following guidelines :

General Writing Guideline of Journal Kanz Philosophia

1. Articles should be an original research and should not have been published elsewhere or sent for publication not either contain elements of plagiarism.

1. Articles could be a viewpoint, research resume, book review or part of dissertation with major modification and adjustment. Articles can be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English for 15-25 pages including references and tables (if any). It should be typed in A4 paper with the top and left margins as 4 cm, bottom and right

margins as 3 cm using times new roman font type, with the font size 12 and 1.5 spacing.

3. The article should have maximum 200 words of abstract in Bahasa and English, consists of 3-5 words each,  using of Times New Roman with font size is 10 in single space.

1. The body of articles consist of : Title, Full Name of the Author, Affiliation, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Description, Conclusion, Bibliography, and Short resume of author and contact detail (correspondence address).
2. The INTRODUCTION contains background of the problem; hypothesis (if any); the purposes of research; introductory refer to some literature which is the basis or reason for the study; also includes front line of current knowledge.
3. In the CONCLUSION it is advised to mention the recommendation or suggestion.
4. The references should be written as footnote.
5. All received articles will be evaluated by specialist referees. Elected articles will be returned to the writers with the reviewer comments along with the decision regarding their publication. The article submitted would not be returned, whether it is accepted for publication or not.
6. Articles should be submitted both in hard and soft copies, at least 2 months before the publication to the secretariat address.
7. Contributors will receive free copies of the Journal in which their articles appear.
8. The literature listed in the Bibliography is referenced literature and cited in scientific papers; Bibliography is written in single-spaced, sequentially in alphabetical order without number.
9. Kanz Philosophia follows the Chicago Manual of Style (16th ed. or later) for citations, bibliography and general style guidelines.

JOURNAL KANZ PHILOSOPHIA

 

 

Kanz Philosophia adalah jurnal akademik yang diterbitkan oleh Sadra International Institute- Sekolah Tinggi Filsafat Islam Sadra di Jakarta. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pandangan ilmiah melalui artikel yang kritis dan informatif, khususnya di bidang filsafat Islam dan tasawuf. Isu tersebut berkembang baik dari wacana klasik dan kontemporer dalam tradisi yang beraga, baik Timur, Barat dengan harapan dapat memberikan kontribusi berupa kajian teoritis, metodologis, dan praktis di bidang tersebut. Kanz Philosophia mencakup beberapa isu atau topik :

 

Filsafat Murni (Epistemologi and Ontologi);

Filsafat Perkembangan yang mencakup :

Filsafat Manusia;

Filsafat Bahasa;

Filsafat Agama ;

Filsafat Moral;

Filsafat Sejarah;

Filsafat Budaya;

Filsafat Seni (Estetika);

Filsafat Politik;

Filsafat Sosiologi;

Filsafat Pendidikan;

Filsafat Ilmu;

Filsafat Psikologi;

Mistisisme teoretis dan praktis.

 

Jurnal Kanz Philosophia terbit dua kali setahun setiap Juni dan Desember. Kontributor mengirimkan naskah dengan memperhatikan beberapa petunjuk di bawah :

1. Naskah merupakan karya ilmiah orisinil yang belum pernah dipublikasikan dan tidak memuat unsur plagiat

 

1. Naskah yang dikirimkan dapat berupa konseptual, resume hasil penelitian, resume buku atau pemikiran tokoh, bagian dari tesis disertasi yang telah mengalami penyesuaian untuk standar jurnal. Artikel di tulis dalam bahasa Indonesia atau Bahasa Inggris sebanyak 15-25 halaman termasuk referensi, daftar pustaka dan tabel (jika ada). Artikel ditulis dalam kertas A4 dengan ukuran atas 4 cm, bawah dan sisi kanan 3 cm dengan menggunakan tipe times new roman ukuran 12, 1,5 spasi.
2. Naskah memiliki abstrak dalam bahasa Indonesia atau Inggris sebanyak 200 kata dan  kata kata kunci 3-5 kata menggunakan times new roman 12 ukuran 10 dan spasi tunggal.
3. Naskah meliputi : Judul, Nama lengkap penulis, Instansi  penulis, Email, Abstrak (dalam bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris), Kata kata kunci, Pendahuluan, Pembahasan, Penutup, dan Daftar Rujukan, serta biografi singkat penulis (termasuk alamat korespondensi).
4. PENDAHULUAN terdiri dari latar belakang masalah; hipotesis (jika ada); tujuan penelitian; dan biasanya bagian ini hanya berkisar 3-4 paragraf atau 2 halaman. Bagian ini juga mencakup beberapa literatur yang menjadi landasan teoritis studi atau mencakup studi sebelumnya.
5. Bagian pembahasan/discussion menyajikan secara sistematis melibatkan data/informasi yang terkait dengan tujuan penelitian; dari pembahasan akan diketahui sejauhmana hasil penelitian diberi makna oleh peneliti atau penulis, juga sejauhmana penulis memberikan batasan pada penemuannya.

7. KESIMPULAN diharapkan mencakup rekomendasi dan saran yang ditulis dalam satu paragraf penuh yang tidak terpisah.
8. Referensi yang digunakan merupakan referensi utama, relevan dan literatur   review tidak terlalu luas. Tidak mengutip dari orang lain.

9. Catatan-catatan berupa referensi ditulis sebagai body note dan catatan tambahan penulis ditulis sebagai catatan kaki yang diurut secara alfabetis.

1. Kata atau istilah yang belum diubah menjadi kata Indonesia diketik dengan huruf italik/cetak miring (bila naskah dalam bahasa Indonesia).
2. 11.  Naskah diserahkan dalam bentuk hardcopy atau softcopy  paling lambat 2

(dua) bulan sebelum penerbitan ke alamat redaksi atau dikirim ke email

journalkanz@sadra.or.id

12  Kepastian pemuatan atau penilakan artikel akan akan diberitahukan kepada

penulis melalui surat atau email

1.  Penulis yang artikelnya dimuat akan menerima 2 exemplar jurnal beserta cetak lepas.

 

1. Literatur yang dicantumkan dalam Daftar Pustaka hanya literatur yang menjadi rujukan dan dikutip dalam karya ilmiah; Daftar Pustaka ditulis/diketik satu spasi, berurutan secara alfabetis tanpa nomor.
